Marc Granko - Director

   A 27 year veteran of the Richmond, California police department where he served on the High Risk Entry Team and now trains the team in high risk entry tactics and shooting skills.  Marc has also served as the senior range master for six years   He has spent much of his career training law enforcement, military, and civilians.

As a Police Officer for the City of Richmond, California, he has served as a Patrol Officer for 15 years, Motorcycle officer for  5 years, Detective for 5 years and a member of the  High Risk Entry Team for 6 years. He has completed approximately 300 live entries. He was a member of the SWAT unit  for 4 years and is an instructor of SWAT units on CQB, Sniping, Shotgun, Pistol, and Submachine gun with emphasis on entry techniques. Marc has also served as a firearms instructor for Contra Costa College.

Mr. Granko received an Associate Degree in Police Science. He has certificates in:

  • Basic, Intermediate and Advanced POST (Police Officer Standard of Training).
  • AWT Advanced Pistol, Shotgun, Carbine, Tactical rifle
  • US Marine Corp Sniper course.
  • Officer Survival and Safety, and field Tactics courses from the California Specialized Training Institute.
  • Gunsite's Advanced Shotgun.
  • Survival Shooting, Weapons Instructor, Tactical Shotgun, Police Sniping, Tactical.
  • Submachine Guns, Close-Quarter-Battle.
  • NRA certified pistol instructor.
  • NRA certified shotgun instructor.
  • Member of the NRA.
